Writeup: A long time veteran of television, Wendie
Malick has been made her first appearance in the TV movie
How To Pick Up Girls! (1978). From there it was another four
years before we saw her again, this time i the feature film
A Little Sex (1982). 1983 brought Wendie her first role as
a series regular, on the short lived show Trauma Center. She
appeared the very next year on Paper Dolls, as a model, and
on Another World in 1986. 1989 saw her land a part on Baywatch
as Gayle Buchanan. She played that role until 1994, although
it was only a recurring role and not a series mainstay. She
also appeared from 1990-96 on the HBO series Dream On. Her
highest profile role is probably as Nina Van Horn on the hit
NBC show Just Shoot Me. For a few years it was one of NBC's
Thursday night shows, pulling huge ratings each week. It languished
in a bad timeslot it's last few years, but for a while she
was in front of more than 18 million eyes each week. She now
appears on the show Fillmore and is scheduled to appear on
the sitcom My Life With Men. |
