Smurfit is a beautiful blonde actress who has spent the better
part of her career in British cinema and television, becoming
one of Britain's beloved actresses. She made her feature film
debut in The Run of the Country (1995), a coming of age movie
about a young Irish man which also starred Albert Finney.
Victoria played the female lead in the movie, the Irish boy's
love interest, and garnered impressive attention. She subsequently
starred in The Leading Man (1996) and So This Is Romance?
(1998) before landing a role on the popular BBC show Ballykissangel
in 1998. She played Orla O'Connell from 1998-2001, delighting
audiences in Britain. 2000 saw her on Channel 4's North Square,
but it was short lived. Other feature films on her resume
include the Leonardo DiCaprio bomb The Beach (2000), The Wedding
Tackle (2000), The Last Great Wilderness (2002), the hilarious
About a Boy (2002, which starred Hugh Grant), and the awful
Bulletproof Monk (2003), which was a box office bomb. She
is a veteran of the mini series as well, having appeared in
the British productions Ivanhoe (1997), Berkeley Square (1998),
