Writeup: Vanessa Bell Calloway, an attractive black
actress, has been consistently working on TV and in feature
films since the mid 1980s when she appeared on the soap Days
of Our Lives (1985), playing Denise Preston for one year.
That same year she appeared on All My Children (she would
return to Days in 1988 playing a different character). Other
TV shows on her resume include Equal Justice (1990), Rhythm
& Blues (1992), Under One Roof (1995), and Orleans (1997),
all of which were axed after a handful of episodes. Her feature
film career has seen more success, with supporting roles in
a number of notable films including Coming to America (1988),
What's Love Got to Do with It (1993), Crimson Tide (1995),
Daylight (1996), The Brothers (2001), All About You (2001),
Biker Boyz (2003) and the Steve Martin starrer Cheaper by
the Dozen (2003). She also has a distinguished TV movie resume,
