recognize the name. Valerie Mahaffey has been a successful
Hollywood actress since 1977 when she was cast in the telepic
Tell Me My Name. She played Ashley Bennett for two years on
the soap opera The Doctors and had a meaty part on the soap
opera spoof mini series "Fresno." Perhaps her most
well remembered character was the slightly disturbed Eve on
Northern Exposure, a role she won an Emmy for. Sporadically
employed throughout the nineties in TV movies and feature
films, Valerie was last seen in 2003's Seabiscuit as Annie
