Writeup: Althoug she had roles in three films before
1962, it wasn't until Ursula Andress emerged from the sea
in that sexy white bikini in 1962's James Bond film Dr. No
that Ursula Andress became a star. The heat surrounding her
and the film was immense, and she was an instant star. The
rest of the 60s were kind to her, with roles in a number of
quality films, including What's New, Pussycat?, The Tenth
Victim, The Blue Max and Casino Royale. By the time the 70s
rolled around her appeal had worn off and Ursula was nothing
more than a second rate actress. She has occasionally performed
in American cinema since then, but there is nothing memorable
on her resume since the late 60s. |
