Writeup: Tyra, blessed with a fabulous smile and an
even more impressive body, is part of the first generation
of true supermodels. A big time babe who transcended simple
fashion modeling, Tyra appeared in the SI Swimsuit edition
multiple times, modeled lingerie, and worked the runway.
In the early 90's she began working Hollywood too, with a
recurring role on the Will Smith sitcom The Fresh Prince Of
Bel Air. From their, it was off to the movies, with roles
in Higher Learning, Love Stinks, A Woman Like That, and most
notably, Coyote Ugly. And while Tyra is undeniably beautiful,
she didn't really seem to catch on in Hollywood, and she hasn't
ever really bagged an impressive role. However, Tyra bought
herself some cred when she exec produced the hit UPN series
America's Next Top Model in 2003. She's looking to produce
another year of the show so look for Tyra to stick around
for a long time to come. |
