Writeup: Everbody remembers Tempestt as Vanessa Huxtable
on The Cosby Show, but she's added a number of credits to
her resume beyond the Cosby Show. Tempestt was only 11 when
the show began it's run, and it was her first role, making
her one lucky kid, and eventually a big star. The show ran
for eight years and Tempestt was there till the end. While
on the show she appeared in three made for TV movies, although
none are particularly memorable. After a three year break
(from 1992-95) Tempestt returned as the host of her own Ricki
Lake style talk show, entitled The Tempestt Bledsoe Show.
The show didn't stay on the air for very long, not making
it past 1995 as far as I know, and since she has appeared
in three TV movies and the feature film Bachelor Man (2003).
She has also guested on the occasional TV series, including
The Practice, Jenny, and The Parkers. |
