Writeup: Tanya Roberts played the sexy Julie Rogers
on Charlie's Angels from 1980-1981. Since the show was so
popular, she became an instant hit and saw different movie
roles pouring in. However, most of these roles involved her
taking her clothes, or using her body as the main point of
her role. Ever the conundrum of a babe on TV, Tanya desperately
wanted to avoid this type of career. Unfortunately, it wasn't
to be, and she was never able to earn the kind of respect
she craved as an actress. She underwent a bit of a renaissance
in 1998 when she was cast as Midge Pinciotti on That 70's
Show, getting to relive a bit of her Charlie's Angels heyday.
Since she left the show in 2001 she has been inactive. |
