Writeup: Born in Pacific Palasades, California in
1959, Tane McClure is a superstar of the B movie genre, racking
up more than 40 film appearances in her career, which began
in 1986 with the feature film Crawlspace. She worked somewhat
sparingly in the 80s, with her career really picking up in
the late 90s as her name on a video box started to move more
copies. Other notable films on her resume include Night Visions
(1991), Hot Under the Collar (1991), Bikini Drive-In (1995),
Midnight Tease II (1995), Caged Hearts (1995), Stripshow (1996),
Scorned 2 (1997), Night Shade (1997), Illicit Dreams 2 (1998),
The Waterfront (1998), Shadow Hours (2000). In a casting move
that strikes me as a bit strange, Tane also appeared in the
two Legally Blonde movies, which starred Reese Witherspoon,
playing Elle Woods' (Reese's character) mother. Early in her
career Tane did some musical work for the movies, having composed
and sung three songs for The Terminator (1984) and composed
for Strike A Pose (1993). |
