Writeup: Talisa Soto, born in Brooklyn, began modeling
at the age of 15 and has been on the cover of Vogue, Mademoiselle,
Glamour and Self, among others, and has appeared in Sports
Illustrated's famed Swimsuit Edition. In 1989 she starred
as Lupe Lamora in the James Bond film License To Kill. It
was a Timothy Dalton film though, and received less attention
than your usual Bond film. Nevertheless, Talisa was able to
craft a career as an actress, appearing in a number of quality
films, including Don Juan DeMarco, Mortal Kombat (& it's
sequel), The Sunchaser and more. She remains a fairly low
level actress, but has built a sold & impressive resume.
In 2002 she married Benjamin Bratt, who she met on the set
of their 2001 film Pinero. |
