| The
Writeup: Susan Saint James first appeared on the TV
movie Fame Is the Name of the Game (1966). Her character,
Peggy Maxwell, was then carried over to the series The Name
Of The Game (1968), and she appeared weekly for three years.
While Susan has been primarily a TV actress throughout her
career, she has also appeared in a selection of feature films,
including Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows (1968), Jigsaw
(1968), Outlaw Blues (1977), Love at First Bite (1979), Carbon
Copy (1981) and Don't Cry, It's Only Thunder (1982). However,
as I mentioned above, Susan is best known as a TV actress,
and let me explain why. Her TV movie resume includes 12 titles,
she has guest starred on eight TV shows, and she has been
a regular cast member of 3. I already mentioned the first
above, and the other two are as follows: McMillan and Wife
(she played the wife from 1971-76) and Kate & Allie (she
played Kate from 1984-89, this was the last major project
she's done). She has also guest starred on shows like It Takes
A Thief, M*A*S*H, McCloud, Ironside, and The Drew Carey Show. |
