Writeup: As a high school senior Stephanie enrolled
at the Strasburg Institute in Los Angeles to study acting.
She has also been educated at Juilliard, The Dance Center
West in LA, and she has taken voice lessons. Stephanie is
without a doubt known as a TV star, appearing in more that
30 telepics in her career, starting with 1977's Yesterday's
Child (1977). A great deal of work followed in the next five
years, including In the Matter of Karen Ann Quinlan (1977),
The Gathering (1977), Long Journey Back (1978), The Best Place
to Be (1979), The Babysitter (1980) and Tomorrow's Child (1982).
In 1982 she was cast as Laura Holt, opposite Pierce Brosnan,
in the popular series Remington Steele. The show ran for five
years, and while Pierce has gone on to become a huge star,
Stephanie never broke into the big time, remaining a star
of TV movies. She has appeared in six feature films in her
career: The Magic of Lassie (1978), The Awakening (1980),
The Prophet's Game (1999), Bread and Roses (2000), Borderline
Normal (2000), and Malpractice (2001). There are also a number
of other TV movies on her resume, but none other's really
worth mentioning. |
