Writeup: Stephanie Romanov was discovered at age 15
by an agent for the Elite Modeling Agency and quickly began
a modeling career that would take her around the world. Her
first professional job was in Europe doing layouts for the
Italian and French versions of Harper's Bazaar. She subsequently
moved to New York to seriously pursue a modeling career and
achieved some success, appearing in Elle, Vanity Fair, Vogue
and more. She has also done commercials for Old Spice and
Ericsson mobile phones. In 1994 she had her first Hollywood
experience, landing a role on the Aaron Spelling show Models
Inc. I presume she was playing a model, since that wouldn't
be a huge stretch for her. The show was much buzzed about
but only lasted one season, getting canned due to low ratings.
However, a career in Hollywood was off and running, so Stephanie
probably wasn't broken up about it. She made her feature film
debut in 1996's Spy Hard and has since appeared in Cadillac
(1997), Dark Spiral (1999), Sunset Strip (2000), Thirteen
Days Which Shocked the World (2000), Tricks (2003) and The
Final Cut (2004) among others. She is also a frequent TV guest
star, having appeared on Melrose Place, Homicide: Life On
The Streets, The Sentinel, Just Shoot Me!, and Nash Bridges. |
