Writeup: Born in Casablanca, Morocco (how cool!),
Stephanie Beacham has a long and distinguished resume spanning
both television and feature films. She began acting in the
late 60s, appearing in the TV movie Black Exchange and guest
starring on the show The Saint. Her feature film career kicked
off in 1970 with The Games, and she has since appeared in
sixteen other films, including The Devil's Widow (1970), Dracula
A.D. 1972 (1972 - as Jessica Van Helsing, and one of Dracula's
victims), The Nightcomers (1972), Mafia Junction (1973), The
Confessional (1975), Horrorplanet (1981), Troop Beverly Hills
(1989), Wedding Bell Blues (1996), Saving Grace (1996) and
Unconditional Love (2002). Clearly, the early 70s were her
movie heyday, but she very easily transitioned into television
in the 80s, maintaining an almost constant presence on series
TV throughout the decade. It began in 1981 with the series
Tenko (1981-82). Other shows are as follows: Connie (1985),
The Colbys (1985-87), Dynasty (1988-89 playing the same role
she played on The Colbys), Sister Kate (1989-1990), Cluedo
(1990), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1991-93, 1995), SeaQuest DSV
(1993-94) and Bad Girls (2003-????). She has also guest starred
on a number of shows, appeared in countless TV movies, and
even done the occasional mini series. |
