Writeup: Born in London, Sonya is a popular British
actress with a lovely accent and a heap of acting talent.
She has yet to become a star, but with looks like hers, it
seems a matter of time. She broke out in 1999, appearing in
the UK mini series Heat of the Sun (1999) and had a large
part in the NBC mini series (2 parts I believe) Noah's Ark,
featuring Jon Voight as Noah. She also appeared in the BBC
TV movie All the King's Men that year, playing Lady Frances
in the costume drama. She has since starred in two feature
films, Eisenstein (2000) and The Search for John Gissing (2001),
but has made her biggest mark in the US in two TV shows: The
Mind of the Married Man (2001) and Coupling (2003). Sadly
for her, both of these shows were awful, especially Married
Man, and were not given much time on the air. I expect we'll
see more of Sonya in the future. |
