Writeup: Sherry Stringfield doesn't have a lengthy
resume, but she's been working steadily since 1989. It was
that year that she joined the cast of Guiding Light as Christina
Blake Bauer Thorpe #2, a role she would play until 1992. She
was then cast on NYPD Blue, in it's debut season in fact,
and played the role of Laura Michaels Kelly for one year before
taking a job as Dr. Susan Lewis on the original cast of ER.
The show became the biggest hit on television right out of
the box and all it's cast members were buried in a media deluge.
Sherry stepped out of the spotlight in 1996 to spend more
time with her boyfriend, who she eventually married. She did
very little acting after leaving ER, show appeared in the
feature film 54 and did a few TV movies, but she mostly concentrated
on her family life. In 2001, after she had a long break to
establish a successful marriage, Sherry returned to ER for
what I hope will be a long time. |
