Writeup: Shelley Morrison has become closely identified
with her performance as Rosario on the popular sitcom Will
& Grace, but she has led a long and varied career beginning
in the mid 60s when she guest starred on shows like Dr. Kildare,
Laredo, The Fugitive and My Favorite Martian. She has spent
most of her career playing ethnic character roles, which fits
for her look and ethnic background, but she has proven herself
to be gifted, despite the fact that it seems to have taken
so long for her to be recognized. Early in her career she
gained notoriety on The Flying Nun (1967-1970), a quirky series
that starred Sally Field and saw Shelley playing Sister Sixto.
She also spent some time on General Hospital, playing Mrs.
Ramirez in 1982. Feature films on her resume include Castle
of Evil (1966, her debut), Divorce American Style (1967),
How to Save a Marriage (And Ruin Your Life) (1968), Three
