Writeup: In a bizarre and almost unheard move, the
producers of the ABC sitcom Roseanne decided to recast the
role of Becky Connor, Roseanne's eldest daughter on the series.
In comes Sarah Chalke. She played the role for five years
and kicked off what would become a long running career. Never
really a movie star, Sarah appeared in a number of low rent
TV movies after she finished with Roseanne, and we really
didn't hear from her again until she appeared on the hilarious
and popular NBC sitcom Scrubs as the clumsy Dr. Elliot Reid.
A career resurgence for her, the show has been shifted to
NBC's primo Thursday night lineup and looks positioned for
a long and prosperous run. |
