Writeup: Born in Hawaii, Sanoe is of Japanese, Hawaiian
and English descent. Sanoe, meaning mist of the mountains,
was born in Kauai, Hawaii in 1979 to mother Laola Lake, a
champion surfer and purveyor of her own line of skin care
and makeup products. Sanoe modeled for the surfing brand Roxy
and for the teen clothing catalog Alloy before breaking into
Hollywood by starring in the summer 2002 hit Blue Crush. It's
unclear to me whether or not she'll continue acting, she has
nothing on the horizon (as of 2003), but Sanoe was well received
in her debut. |
