Writeup: Sandra Oh was born to Korean parents in Ontario,
Canada in 1971. She made her debut in the 1989 television
series Denim Blue, a short lived show that didn't make it
past year one. It was seven years, and a few bad movies, before
a larger audience saw Sandra in the HBO show Arliss. Although
the show was generally critically reviled, it still stayed
on the air for seven years, giving Sandra a steady job and
lots of good exposure on television. She has been in feature
films since Arliss started, and the most memorable include
Bean, The Red Violin, Permanent Midnight, Guinevere, The Princess
Diaries, and Big Fat Liar. She continues to work in feature
films. |
