Writeup: Salli Richardson is a talented actress who
has been performing in Hollywood since 1991 and still maintains
a relatively low profile. Her being of African American descent
(her father was African American, her mother Caucasian) probably
doesn't help, it might actually be the one big thing holding
her back. Salli began her acting career in theater and made
her feature film debut in 1991's Up Against The Wall. Since
then she has seen most of her success come in feature films
along with some work in television. Her most notable feature
films include Mo' Money (1992), Posse (1993), A Low Down Dirty
Shame (1994), The Great White Hype (1996), Butter (1998),
Antwone Fisher (2002), and Biker Boyz (2003). She has also
starred in the TV series Family Law (1999-2002) and Rude Awakening
(2000-01). Her TV guest starring appearances include CSI:
Miami, Mercy Point, The Pretender and Stargate: SG-1. In 2002
she married actor Dondre Whitfield. |
