Writeup: Saffron Burrows was discovered at age 15
by a model scout and began a very successful career as a runway
and print model. At the age of 17 she decided to abandon modeling
and give acting a try. When she was twenty she landed a role
in the acclaimed film In The Name Of The Father and it wasn't
long before she was an in demand actress, working all year
round on various film and television projects. Her biggest
American role to date was in the 1999 surprise hit Deep Blue
Sea, as the seductive Dr. Susan McCallister, eventual shark
bait. She's worked furiously since then and has a role in
2004's Troy, a sure fire hit and sure fire career booster.
An attractive woman, Saffron has a model's build, with a very
