Writeup: Rena Owen is a talented character actress
who has appeared in a range of films throughout her career,
including big budget spectaculars and small, pleasing indies.
1994 marked the beginning of her career and she appeared in
two pleasing films that year, the Warner Bros. release Rapa
Nui (1994), and the rugged independent film Once Were Warriors
(1994), in which she had a starring role. In 1995 she appeared
in Savage Play (1995) and then spent the next year working
the show Medivac, a foreign show, although I'm not sure which
country it aired in. She played Macy Fields during the opening
1996-1997 season. Her feature film career resumed in 1998
with Dance Me to My Song, and since then she has appeared
in a number of notable films, including I'll Make You Happy
(1999), What Becomes of the Broken Hearted? (1999), Artificial
Intelligence: AI (2001), Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of
the Clones (2002, lending her voide to the character Taun
We), Pledge of Allegiance (2002), Nemesis Game (2003), The
Water Giant (2003) and the yet to be released films The Crow:
