Writeup: Rachel Ward was born in England in 1957 and
made her feature film debut in the 1981 film Night School
(an interesting bit of trivia: her uncle is Great Britain's
Earl Of Dudley). A former model, Rachel is stunningly beautiful
and has impressed movie goers with her acting talents. She
impressed critics with her role as a hooker in Sharky's Machine
and won the hearts of many fans on the mini series The Thorn
Birds (the same job she met her husband on). Against All Odds
(1984) and Hotel Colonial (1987) were both quality performances,
though audiences didn't make either film a big hit. Since
the late 80s she has appeared in both feature films (The Good
Wife, Christopher Columbus: The Discovery, Double Obsession,
and The Ascent) and made for TV movies (Shadow Of The Cobra,
Black Magic, Double Jeopardy, and On The Beach). |
