Writeup: Poppy Montgomery is an up and coming actress
who has established a flourishing career for herself after
struggling to hit it big in the 90s. She began her career
with a bit part in the 1994 film Tammy And The T-Rex and had
a small part in the following year's Devil In A Blue Dress.
A small role in the 1996 series Relativity was a career boost,
but the show only lasted for one season. A mix of feature
films (Dead Man On Campus, The Other Sister, Life, and This
Space Between Us) and TV work (TV show The Beat and a few
TV movies) followed in the late 90s and into the new millenium.
It was 2001, and the mini series Blonde that really broke
Poppy into the big time. She played Marilyn Monroe in the
highly hyped and well rated mini series, and it was a part
that led to bigger and better things for her, namely a role
on the 2002 series Glory Days, and after that was canceled
a role on the Jerry Bruckheimer produced Without A Trace,
a big time hit for CBS. She currently appears on the show,
and will probably be there for a long time to come, and is
scheduled to appear in the 2004 film 50 Ways To Leave Your
Lover. |
