Writeup: In one of those instances where someone becomes
a big star overnight, Piper was cast in the T&A flick
Coyote Ugly and instantly exploded into a star, for that summer
at least. She hit the cover of many big magazines, did a mega
press tour and danced her ass off in the movie. In another
typical Hollywood moment, Piper didn't really catch on and
hasn't been back to the top since. She's worked on a number
of independent films but I tend to wonder; What happened?
She's certainly pretty enough, a big warm smile, great body
and gorgeous eyes, so it wouldn't be that. Her acting ability
is certainly up in question, Coyote Ugly wasn't Shakespeare,
but that's never stopped anyone else from becoming a star.
Who knows, the only truth is that Hollywood is fickle and
sometimes people get chewed up and spit out of the studio
system. |
