has played Bill Cosby's wife on television for a combined
12 years over two TV shows. Phylicia's made her debut in 1976
on an episode of the TV series Delvecchio, and continued with
a role in the with a role in the 1978 feature film The Wiz.
She landed a one year role on One Life To Live in 1983, and
the very next year her big break hit when she was cast as
Clair Olivia Hanks Huxtable on The Cosby Show. The show was
a breakout hit and would become one of the most popular shows
on television. In ran until 1992 and made household names
out of all it's stars. After the show went off the air Phylicia
appeared in countless forgettable TV movies, until 1996 when
she was again cast as Bill Cosby's wife in the self titled
show Cosby. A mostly unfunny show, it nonetheless ran for
4 years. She now appears mostly in TV films when she chooses
