| The
Writeup: Peri Gilpin grew up in Dallas, TX and was
given every opportunity as a child to nurture her love of
acting. She studied at the Dallas Theater Center before going
off to college at the University Of Texas at Austin to study
acting. Her early career was highlighted by guest starring
appearances on 21 Jump Street, Matlock, Wings, Designing Women
and Cheers before she was cast as Roz Doyle on the spinoff
series Frasier. Ten years later, the show is still running
and Peri is pulling in several hundred thousand dollars per
episode. Not bad. In addition to Frasier she has appeared
in three feature films: Spring Forward (1999), How to Kill
Your Neighbor's Dog (2000), and Final Fantasy: The Spirits
Within (2001 - voice). |
