| The
Writeup: Penny Johnson has a long and distinguished
career as an actress. She has experienced most of her successes
on TV, but she does have a few feature films to her credit.
It all began way back in 1983 with a role in the TV movie
The Files On Jill Hatch. Playing Jill Hatch, it was a nice
meaty role that really jump started her career. In fact, she's
been a non stop actor since then, appearing on our TV screens
consistently. She had her first TV show experience as a regular
on The Paper Chase, playing Vivian from 1984-86. After that
it was a one year stint on General Hospital. A glut of other
TV roles followed, including a number of movies and high profile
guest starring appearances. In 1992 she landed the role of
Beverly Barnes on The Larry Sanders Show, a role that she
would play for six years until the show departed in 1998.
During her time on Larry Sanders she also guested frequently
on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Most recently she has appeared
as Sherry Palmer on the hit Fox series 24. |
