Writeup: Paula Shaw has a fairly long resume of parts
in films and television, but she has never broken through
with a big time role. Her feature film debut was To Hex with
Sex (1969) and since then she has worked on and off, appearing
most recently in the feature film Freddy Vs. Jason (2003)
as Mrs. Pamela Voorhees. Other feature films include Freedom
to Love (1969), The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982),
Witchfire (1986), Communion (1989), Reindeer Games (2000)
and Insomnia (2002). She has also appeared in a number of
telepics, including And Your Name Is Jonah (1979), Fatal Memories
(1992) and Deadlocked (2000). Her TV guest starring resume
is also impressive, including parts on Barney Miller, The
Bob Newhart Show, Three's Company, Cagney & Lacey, 21
Jump Street, The X-Files, and The Twilight Zone. There have
been some sizable gaps in her work years, so I would guess
it's been lean for her sometimes, but she continues to perform. |
