her acting career at the age of four as the daughter of Mia
Farrow and Bruce Dern in The Great Gatsby. She appeared in
a number of films during her formidable years, including The
Blue Bird and Hanover Street, as well as a number of British
TV and stage productions before reaching maturity and hitting
her peak as an actress. Absolute Beginners (1986) got her
