Writeup: A dark, seductive actress from London, England,
Olivia has made an impression on American cinema in a relatively
short period of time. Her first big time Hollywood role was
in the Kevin Costner bomb The Postman, by no means a boost
for anyone's career. It was the next year that she really
broke through. She played Miss Rosemary Cross, the object
of both Bill Murray's and Jason Schwartzmann's obsession in
Rushmore. It was an intriguing performance on her part, and
an excellent introduction to American audiences. The next
year she played Anna Crowe, the grieving widow, in the hugely
popular The Sixth Sense. Since then it's been a collection
of mostly low budget independent films from both sides of
the pond. Look for her in the big budget remake of Peter Pan
in fall 2003. |
