| The
Writeup: Olivia Burnette has been a professional actress
since the age of 6. She made her major debut guest starring
on an episode of the TV show Riptide at the age of 8. Managed
by her mother, Olivia has an impressive resume of TV work,
and she's only in her mid 20s. She has also managed to make
the difficult transformation from child to adult actor, having
appeared in the TV movie A Mother's Testimony (2001) as a
24 year old. However, she does remain best known for her work
as a young star, most notably on the TV shows The Torkelsons
(1991-1992) and Almost Home (1993), playing the same character,
Dorothy Jane Torkelson. She has also appeared in the feature
films Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987), Hard Promises (1991),
The Quick and the Dead (1995), Eye for an Eye (1996) and Jekyll
Island (1998). You also might have seen her in the straight
to video feature Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror
(1998), although I doubt it. |
