Writeup: Nia Peeples has been a TV star for more than
20 years, beginning in 1981 with her casting on the TV series
The Music Shoppe and really blossoming with her role on General
Hospital. On the soap, she played the part of Carla Escobar
for eleven years (1983-94), and at the same time held down
a job on the popular series Fame (from 1984-87). What a work
load. She also did a great many TV movies and specials in
her time on General Hospital, and even hosted named after
her (The Party Machine with Nia Peeples). After she left General
Hospital she starred in four more television shows, all now
canceled (most memorable of these shows is Walker, Texas Ranger,
a dreadful show that nonetheless ran for eight years. She
was on the show from 1999-2001). She now appears in feature
films and TV movies. |
