Writeup: Naomie Harris was born in London, England
in 1976 and began her career as a 14 year old on the TV series
Runaway Bay. She spent three years on the show and moved on
to another TV show, The Tomorrow People, when it was canceled,
She spent the 94-95 season on The Tomorrow people and then
took a seven year break from acting. If I had to guess I would
say she took time off to go to college, but it could be that
she just wanted to separate her child self from her desired
adult self. Either way, she emerged with a bang, landing five
roles in 2002, including the mega popular horror film 28 Days
Later. Released in the US in 2003, it was a monster hit in
Britain and was a surprise money maker in the US. She has
two projects currently scheduled for 2004, and with her newly
raised profile should see a long and fruitful career. |
