Writeup: Nancy Travis had a wildly successful beginning
to her career, and at one point seemed as though she might
blossom into a genuine superstar. She made her film debut
in the huge hit Three Man And A Baby in 1987, and followed
that up with quality roles in Married To The Mob, Eight Men
Out, Internal Affairs, Loose Cannons, Air America and a sequel
to her debut, Three Men And A Little Lady. It seemed as though
stardom was right at her fingertips, and the films So I Married
An Axe Murderer and Greed were supposed to take here there,
but neither film performed at the box office, and Nancy lost
her opportunity to make it to the A-list. Nonetheless, she
remains a talented and beautiful actress who works constantly.
She has been a member of four network TV shows, three of them
failed, the fourth still on the air (Becker, which she joined
in it's fifth season). She continues to work in feature films
and made for TV movies. |
