Writeup: Nancy McKeon was born in Westbury, New York
and was modeling clothes for the Sears catalog by the time
she was 2 years old. She and her brother combined to be in
more than 65 commercials over a seven year period and the
family moved to Los Angeles when her brother landed a role
on the TV series Alice. She was cast in Return To Fantasy
Island as a 12 year old, and impressed Hollywood types with
her role in the short lived series Stone in 1979. In 1980
she landed the break of a lifetime and was cast as Jo on The
Facts Of Life. She played the role for eight years and built
up her TV resume with a number of made for TV movies while
on the show. After the show's run ended she continued to perform
in TV movies and in 1995 was cast in the show Can't Hurry
Love. It was a quick cancellation, as was her 1998 series
Style And Substance, but she has finally found a hit with
the Lifetime series The Division. |
