Writeup: Nana Visitor is a beloved TV actress known
to science fiction fans as Kira Nerys on the long running
show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Before her role on that show,
Nana had built a fairly impressive resume of TV work, including
roles on three soap operas (Ryan's Hope, The Doctors, and
One Life To Live), the TV series Working Girl, and parts in
made for TV movies The Spirit (1987), Meet The Munceys (1988),
and A Father's Homecoming (1988). In 2001 she was cast Madame
X on the Fox series Dark Angel, which also starred Jessica
Alba. The show was fairly short lived, and we haven't seen
Nana since then, although I'm fairly confident she'll pop
up on another TV anytime now. |
