Writeup: Michael Michele has been working in Hollywood
since 1990 when she debuted in Def By Temptation, but she
works more in television than film. After a role in the 1991
New Jack City, Michael was cast in the TV show Dangerous Curves,
a short lived show. In fact, Michael has been a part of five
television series' as of 2003. After ten years of struggling,
steady success finally came when she was cast on the hit show
Homicide: Life On The Streets as Detective Rene Sheppard.
A critically acclaimed show, she delivered a solid performance
week after week, and when the show was canceled she was quickly
picked up on ER. She spent three years there and left, I assume,
to pursue a movie career. It's worked fairly well, because
her three biggest movie roles have come since she left ER.
She's had roles in Ali, Dark Blue and How To Lose A Guy In
10 Days. Judging by these results, I'd say we'll see a lot
more of Michael in the future. |
