| The
Writeup: Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, this elegantly
beautiful foreign actress has amassed an impressive array
of feature film credits in her short time making movies. In
1998 she appeared in the Argentinian film Tango (1998), which
was Oscar nominated for Best Foreign Film. She then appeared
in the classy independent film The Venice Project (1999),
which also had in it's cast Lauren Bacall and Dennis Hopper.
Timecode (2000), the celebrated indie starring Salma Hayek
and Holly Hunter, among others, was her next project. She
has since appeared in independent films and foreign produced
pictures, including Picking Up the Pieces (2000), Hotel (2001),
the Oscar nominated Frida (2002), The Motorcycle Diaries (2003),
Four Lean Hounds (2003) and the upcoming Deepwater (2004).
Mia's looks remind me a little bit of Penelope Cruz, except
