Writeup: Mia Farrow has seemingly seen and done it
all. An actress at the age of 14 she starred in the 1959 film
John Paul Jones, directed by her father, and got her first
taste of showbiz. She came back to Hollywood in 1964 and began
an acting career in earnest, appearing for two years on the
TV show Peyton's Place and starring in a few feature films.
In 1968 she gave what is probably her most well remembered
performance in Rosemary's Baby, playing the title character.
It is her relationship with Woody Allen, and the films that
resulted, that Mia will be best remembered for however. They
did 10 films together, all with Woody tailoring the roles
to Mia's strengths as a person and as an actress. It famously
blew up in 1992 when Woody apparently began a relationship
with one of Mia's adopted children. |
