Writeup: Melinda Culea, a beautiful brunette with
a knockout smile, made her major debut in the feature film
The Rules of Marriage (1982), about a couple whose marriage
disintigrates, resulting in both of them engaging in affairs.
Melinda played a supporting role. The following role she landed
a fairly large role playing Amy Allen, the token female, in
The A-Team (1983). She left she show after the first season
amid reports that she was unhappy with her role on the show
and the pay she was receiving. She has since held down a number
of jobs on TV, appearing on Glitter (1984-1985), Knots Landing
(1988-1990), Likely Suspects (1992), Brotherly Love (1995-1997)
and C-16: FBI (1997-1998). She has also appeared in the feature
films The Fisher King (1991, starring Robin Williams), Wagons
East (1994, one of John Candy's final films, and a mostly
dreadful picture), and Dying On the Edge (2001, I know nothing
about this movie). Her resume rounds out with a bunch of TV
guest starring roles and parts in five more TV movies, although
none are particularly worth mentioning. Melinda was originally
a model before moving to LA to pursue and acting career. |
