Writeup: Megan Gallagher has wanted to be an actress
since she was five years old. When she graduated high school
a true pursuit of this began as she moved to New York City
to attend Juilliard. While there she appeared in the Broadway
show A Few Good Men, and earned two theater awards for outstanding
debut. After graduating from Juilliard she struggled to make
an impact in LA, as most actors do, and apparently came close
to giving the whole thing up. However, as luck would have
it she nabbed a role on the huge 80s series Hill Street Blues,
playing Officer Tina Russo from 1986-87, and a career was
born. Since then she has been best known as a TV actress,
appearing on five more shows as a series regular and performing
in 10 telepics. Her other TV shows are The Slap Maxwell Story
(1987), China Beach (1988-89), Pacific Station (1991), The
Larry Sanders Show (1992), and Millennium (1996-98). She has
also appeared in the feature films Breaking Free (1995), Contagion
(2001), Blind Obsession (2001) and National Lampoon's Van
Wilder (2002) among others. |
