Writeup: Maureen Flannigan was born in Inglewood,
California in 1973 and was guest starring on TV shows at the
age of 12, appearing on the Michael Landon drama Highway To
Heaven in 1985 in a guest starring capacity. In 1987 she was
given her own series and became a confirmed TV star. She played
the role of Evie Garland, a half alien/half human living on
the planet earth in the series Out Of This World. The silly,
though popular, show ran from 1987-1991 and was a modest ratings
success. In 1993 she made her feature film debut and apparently
made an effort to shed some of her family friendly image by
baring her breasts opposite Scott Wolf in Teenage Bonnie and
Klepto Clyde (1993), a contemporary retelling of the classic
story (she looked stunning by the way). Other feature films
include Last Resort (1994), Goodbye America (1997), Written
in Blood (2002) and the upcoming A Day Without a Mexican (2004).
In 1998 she was a part of the cast on the short lived series
Push (1998) and that same year was added to the cast of 7th
Heaven in a recurring role as Shauna Sullivan, Matt Camden's
girlfriend. Maureen continues to work in television, recently
guest starring on an episode of ER. |
