Writeup: Mary Stuart Masterson first appeared on film
in 1975's The Stepford Wives with her father, Peter Masterson.
Her parents then directed her to live a life out of the limelight,
and she did her schooling, appeared on Broadway at the age
of 15, and finally, in 1985, returned to film with the role
of Dani in Heaven Help Us (1985). She has subsequently appeared
in more than thirty film productions, with performance highlights
in Fried Green Tomatoes, Heaven's Prisoners, Benny & Joon,
and Bed Of Roses. She is a wonderful actress with oodles of
talent, although she's never broke into the stratosphere of
Hollywood actresses. |
