countries all around the world. She debuted in Silvestre (1982),
a foreign film which had her playing the title role. Of a
diminuitive stature, she has appeared in a wild variety of
movies throughout her career, some of her most notable being
Sorceress (1987), Henry & June (1990), A Divina Comédia (1991),
The Prince's Death (1991, which she also directed), Huevos
de oro (1993), Pulp Fiction (1994, playing Fabienne, Bruce
Willis' female companion), Adão e Eva (1995), Le Polygraphe
(1997), The Comedian (1997), A Tempestade da Terra (1998),
Babel (1999), Honolulu Baby (2001), Water and Salt (2002)
and My Life Without Me (2003). She is mostly an actress of
independent cinema, appearing in low budget films that are
