Writeup: Maren Jensen attended UCLA in the 70s and
while she was there began a successful modeling career that
included appearing on the covers of Cosmopolitan and Seventeen
Magazine. She was an absolute fox during her heyday, so it's
no wonder she was so popular as a model. The modeling eventually
led to her introduction to an agent who quickly landed her
a guest starring part on The Hardy Boys Mysteries. The very
same year she snagged the part of Lt. Athena on the cult TV
show Battlestar Galactica. The show was only on the air for
one year, the 78-79 season, but Maren remains a popular figure
today because of the show's lasting appeal among it's fans.
She also appeared in the feature films Beyond the Reef (1981)
and Deadly Blessing (1981) before essentially disappearing
from Hollywood, having never done another project since. |
