Writeup: A veteran of The Juilliard School in New
York, Marcia Cross is a delightful TV actress. A veteran of
soap operas, Marcia made her debut as Liz Correll on the soap
The Edge Of The Night in 1984, playing the character for a
short period. She subsequently appeared on One Life To Live
(1986-1987), and Another World (1986) before making the jump
to prime time with a one year stint on Knots Landing as Victoria
Broyelard (1991-1992). The very next year she was cast as
Dr. Kimberly Shaw on Melrose Place, and it was here that she
left her most indelible mark. By the end of her run on the
show her character was a complete and utter psychopath, ruining
lives with ease. She left the show in 1997, and hadn't really
been heard from, aside for a few TV movies, until she reappeared
in 2003 as Linda Abbott on the popular, and excellent, WB
series Everwood. Her character has been brought on as a hoped
for romantic interest for Dr. Brown, but time will tell. However,
her addition to the cast is a welcome addition. TV is better
when Marcia is around. She has appeared in five feature films
in her career: Bad Influence (1990), Female Perversions (1996),
Always Say Goodbye (1996), Dancing in September (2000), and
Living in Fear (2001). |
