Writeup: What a star Maggie has become. She has managed
to climb from independent film obscurity into the national
spotlight & now she's starring opposite Julia Roberts
in Mona Lisa Smile. Maggie jumped into the big time when she
starred in Secretary, a romance with a little bit of S&M
and bondage thrown in for a different flavor. And it certainly
was a different film. That's what the independent film is
supposed to be all about though, so kudos to all involved.
And kudos to Maggie for working hard and slogging through
the crap it takes to make it to the top. I've never found
Maggie to be a stunning beaty, but her enormous talent more
than makes up for. |
