Writeup: A tall, dark and beautiful actress, Madeleine
Stowe seemed positioned to take over the world in the early
nineties, but seemed to fade quickly after her string of early
nineties successes. She starred in the huge hit, both critically
and commercially, The Last Of The Mohicans, then followed
it up with six films in the next three years. None of them
hit home with audiences, and Madeleine lost any cache she
had with audiences and was thus relegated to second fiddle
roles (second to John Travolta in the awful General's Daughter,
a role in the big bomb The Impostor, so on an so forth). Nonetheless,
Madeleine remains stunningly well carved and beautiful, a
testament to beauty even after she turned 45. |
